Third-party game controllers often get a bad reputation that’s not always underserved as few of them are as good as their name-brand counterparts. This gamepad from ISHAKO is one of the rare exceptions. I actually like this one better than my OEM controllers.

THE BASICS
The Ishako gamepad is a comfortable and performance-focused controller that’s compatible with a wide array of consoles. With Bluetooth, 2.4GHz Wireless (USB dongle included) and a USB-C port, this gamepad can be used on everything from consoles like the Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation to PCs, Macs, Android tablets, iOS devices, and even Teslas. It has all the buttons and triggers needed to play modern games, but also works great for retrogamers and emulation. In addition to all the expected features, the controller features tons of configuration options from rumble-adjustment and RGB lighting options to the ability to record and use macros.
PERFORMANCE
Even with modern fighting games and first-person shooters, there’s no wireless lag in this controller thanks to its 1,000Hz polling rate. The buttons, triggers, and analog sticks all feel great and responsive. Even the d-pad, which often feels inferior in third-party controllers, is snappy and reactive — perfect for playing old school classics. The ability to record macros gives gamers an edge in modern games. Most importantly, the controller is comfortable in my hands. The non-slip grip keeps it planted in my hands and like many inferior controllers, it doesn’t feel too small or too big.
The 1,200mAh built-in battery provides between 18 and 22 hours of gameplay, depending on the rumble level, RGB lights, and wireless use. The controller charges via USB-C in 3-4 hours. The RGB lighting sets this controller apart from the competition and gives it a killer look without blinding you.
